As awards season carries on, the nominations for the Producer Guild Awards were released. Nominated in the Best Animated Feature category have been The Adventures of Tintin, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots, Cars 2 and Rango. Surprisingly missing from the nominations was Aardman Animation’s Arthur Christmas, which had a “freshness” rating of over 90% over at the film review website RottenTomatoes.com, versus Cars 2′s 33% rating. The winners will be announced on January 21st.
