Batman: Year One Trailer

Published: Jul 8, 2011 by meza Filed under: Movies
The Dark Knight Returns is broadly viewed as artist / writer Frank Miller’s work of art with regards to The Caped Crusader. As amazing as it's, his later retelling of Batman’s first years in Batman: Year One is definitely deserving on its own. It got every one of the hallmarks of Miller’s best work, combined with David Mazzucchelli’s extraordinary inky-noir pictures made this an exceptional version of The Dark Knight’s origin.

At some point Batman: Year One had been created as a live-action feature movie for director Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan), but that version fell through when Warner Brothers chose to go with director Christopher Nolan (Memento) in Batman Begins.

Ultimately, the project will come to your TV screens being an cartoon DTV due out on October 18 of this year, and MTV has your first look on the trailer. It definitely seems extremely great for a video-only release.
