Augie wants his Dad to try a new formula he's just made. Doggie
Daddy says no at first until Augie tells him that it's a slimming
formula. Doggie Daddy puts it in his bath water and nothing happens.
Augie feels like he's failed and goes off to try something else. Doggie
Daddy is relaxing in the tub when all of a sudden, the formula starts to
work and he shrinks. Augie comes back and finds his Dad on a bar of
soap and he pulls the drain plug to get him out but Doggie Daddy goes
down the drain. Augie runs and gets a plunger and plunges the drain hole
and Doggie Daddy pops out of the sink drain.
Augie sets his Dad
on the window sill while he goes and tries to fix a formula to help his
Dad return to normal A bird is flying by and mistakes Doggie Daddy's
tail for a worm and grabs him and takes him to the bird house and the
bird flies off when he sees the little dog.
Doggie Daddy climbs
down and finds a cat rummaging through the trash. He kicks the cat and
tells him to get lost. The cat is surprised to see such a small dog. The
cat starts chasing Doggie Daddy with a fly swatter and Doggie Daddy
falls down a storm drain. Augie shows up and swats the cat with a broom
and chases him off. he then uses gum on the end of the broom to get
Doggie Daddy out of the drain. A policeman asks Augie if he's fishing
for pennies and Augie shows him his tiny Pop. The policeman feels that
it's time for him to retire because now he's seen everything.
Augie
tells Doggie Daddy that the formula will wear off in four weeks and so
he shrinks himself to keep his Dad company while he waits for it to wear
off.
